Civil & Criminal Litigation

We assist clients to vindicate their legal rights in disputes of facts against private persons, companies, organs of state and other organisations. We also assist with evictions, interdict applications and other issues that require the service of litigation.

Our attorney is experienced with defending criminal offenders facing the arm of law. We do this at a reasonable fee, considering the magnitude of the offence at hand, the circumstances of the client and the available resources to assist the client.

Contracts

We provide the service of drafting and interpreting various legal contracts. Ms Mogotlane is an aspiring notary and, when that is achieved, this area of law will be developed into a department of its own.

Correspondence

Our office is within walking distance of the KwaMhlanga Magistrate Court, Police Station, Government Complex and Sheriff's Office. We assist colleagues outside KwaMhlanga with matters in the area, doing correspondent work for the KwaMhlanga Magistrate Court at a reasonable fee — and we carry out the mandate with excellence.

Family Law

Ms Mogotlane has a great passion for family matters and vast experience in divorce and maintenance matters. We help bring unsettled family issues to rest, including domestic violence, by making clients aware of their rights and responsibilities as individuals and as a family.

Personal Injury Claims

Mainly claims against the Road Accident Fund for injuries sustained in accidents, as well as medical negligence, slip and fall and any other injury causing damages to the person. We ensure clients are fairly and timeously compensated where there is liability.

Wills & Administration of Estates

Estate planning is something our community knows very little about. We aim to help people prepare for their future with their families and build wealth. We draft wills, report and administer estates.

Taxation & Bills of Costs

We assist colleagues with preparing the Bill of Costs — the statement of account by the attorney of the successful party — and attend taxation before the taxing master on request. Files can be delivered to our office or collected for a fee.
